Description

The small blue Peacock is actually a carved shell! I used blue, white and some blue/green Swarovski Crystals to make the frame and strap. This is framed only, there is no backing on it, so you can see all the details of the shell.

The necklace took over 30 hours to complete. I used Peyote and Herringbone stitch to complete it. The center is made without the use of GLUE or BACKING. The center includes beads that are between 11o and 15o (this means there are between 11 – 15 beads per inch). Because of this technique the center is just FRAMED and the stone can be seen from both sides.

Necklace measures at 17-18 inches in length and can be lengthened if needed.
