I have to say that this is a LARGE PURPLE AGATE SLICE….but it isn’t heavy and it is pure BEAUTY!  I just love the different sides to it.  When I was creating it I focused on the differences….not just to accent the stone but to also give the wearer TWO totally different looks with it!! One side is WHITE based and one side is PURPLE based!!  I can’t even tell you how many Swarovski Crystals there are…but there are LOTS!!  Even the hoop earrings have Swarovski Crystals!!

When looking for a name for here this one stuck out – Wisteria /wis-te–ria/ as a girls’ name. Flower name: a vine with purple–blue blossoms, named for the 18th-century Philadelphia physician, Caspar Wistar.  But of course this necklace isn’t just common, it is made for an Empress!!

This necklace took over 67 hours to complete. I used peyote, fringe stitch and herringbone stitch to complete it. The center is made without the use of GLUE or BACKING. The center sets inside beads that are between 11o and 15o (this means there are between 11 – 15 beads per inch).

Necklace measures at 18 – 19.75 inches in length and can be lengthened if needed. Agate is 3.5 x 4 inches.

Earring measure at 1.5 inches from post to bottom.
